The Just Coffee Concept
The farm at the centre of everything.
From this foundation, coffee production, free agricultural training, and mindset transformation grow side by side, equipping local families with practical skills and a renewed vision for their future. Every cup of coffee becomes part of a cycle that grows stronger farms, families, and communities.

Timeline
- Where it began2017
A mission begins in Kooki
Pastor Wilberforce, on mission from Citykyrkan Stockholm, began looking for a way to help the marginalised communities of the Kooki Kingdom — a region hit hard by AIDS, which took many parents and, with them, generations of agricultural knowledge. Through this search, Wilberforce was introduced to Bruce Collins of Just Earth, who committed to provide their farm-school curriculum and train staff on the ground in Uganda.
- 2017
The King of the Kooki Kingdom grants 30 acres of land
The foundation is laid. Land is cleared, shelter for teaching is built, and locals are invited to join.
- 2018
The first Farm School is established
Training begins, equipping farmers with practical skills and new opportunities.
- 2018
More partners join the work
What started as an initiative funded by Citykyrkan Stockholm grows into a wider coalition, joined by PMU, Immanuelskyrkan, and New Wine — all standing behind the farm-school mission in Uganda.
- 2020
First field day
The local community and royalty witness the students' progress before harvest — sparking inspiration and inviting others to join. Covid-19 was tough on Uganda, but the farmers still showed their community what they had learned.

100+ people trained
Graduation ceremony where program director Wilberforce Bezudde hands over diplomas.

Second Farm School opens in Greater Masaka
Expanding into a region marked by deep challenges and many needs — restoring knowledge, purpose, and dignity.

A funding crisis threatens everything built
Much of the work in Uganda has been sustained, directly or indirectly, by organisations funded through SIDA. With SIDA now signalling a major drawdown of aid — particularly across Africa — the reality is stark: if that funding disappears, every farm school we've built together would have to close. Rather than wait for that to happen, the teams in Uganda and Sweden came together to find another way forward.

Just Coffee is launched
Mission World of Hope Foundation and Just Coffee come together under a unified vision: two entities, one mission — grow and sell exceptional coffee to sustain and expand the work of the farm schools. The first coffee trees (Batian variety) are planted on the farm in Kooki.
- 2026
Our coffee arrives in Sweden
In just one year, the combined efforts of the teams in Uganda and Sweden brought the coffee home, ready to be roasted.

Roasted and ready for delivery
As the coffee is roasted, a new chapter begins — every cup contributes to the fight against poverty.
